What we collect, and why.

Launch League is based in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada, and serves families and business owners in Northeast Ohio. This page covers launchleague.us.

Children under 13

Launch League is for people age 13 and up. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. A parent or guardian applies for any young person under 18, and the public forms do not ask for a young person's name or date of birth. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email admin@launchleague.ca and we will delete it.

What the forms collect

When you use a form on this site we collect the name and email you type, what you write in the message box, and, for the coaching application, an age group. For the Barberton list we also note that you confirmed you are 13 or older or a parent. We use this only to reply to you and, if you joined a list, to send you the details of that thing. We do not sell it or share it with advertisers.

Where it is stored, and who helps us handle it

Your information is stored in our database, hosted in Canada, and we use email and web hosting services to run the site and send replies. We also use privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages are visited, and a short-lived record of the page you came from so we know which link brought you.

Free tools and accounts

The free Business 101 course and career quiz can be used without paying. If you create an account to save progress, that account is covered by the same database and the privacy policy on launchleague.ca, which applies to those tools.

Email

We send a reply to what you asked, and updates only if you joined a list. Every message can be answered with a request to stop, and we will stop.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time: email admin@launchleague.ca. We reply within two business days.

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above.
